Andy Motz

Andy Motz is an award-winning filmmaker and committed activist. He works with narrative, documentary, and experimental film formats to explore pressing issues including HIV awareness, homelessness, queer identity, masculinity, and more. 

His films have been screened at festivals around the world including Cinema Diverse: Palm Springs LGBTQ Festival, Awareness Festival, Global Peace Festival, and Paris Shorts Film Festival. He has worked and/or volunteered for such organizations such as the Downtown Women’s Center, The Trevor Project, Gays Against Guns, and AIDS Healthcare Foundation. 

Most recently, Andy co-curated a digital film and poetry festival with the arts collective Level Ground and is currently working on a feature length documentary about alternative masculinity.
